By accessing lumeriaskyn.com or using the Lumeria Skyn iOS application (together, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Lumeria Skyn LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Not Medical Advice
The content provided through Lumeria Skyn — including skincare routines, product suggestions, ingredient analysis, and educational content — is for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Lumeria Skyn is not a licensed medical provider. Always consult a qualified dermatologist or healthcare professional before beginning a new skincare regimen, particularly if you have a diagnosed skin condition, are pregnant, or are currently using prescription skincare treatments. Do not disregard professional medical advice based on anything you read or see within the Service.
3. Affiliate Links & Product Recommendations
Lumeria Skyn participates in the Amazon Associates Program and may earn a commission when you purchase products through links in the app or on this website. This comes at no additional cost to you. Product recommendations are based on skincare suitability for your skin profile and are not influenced by affiliate relationships. We only recommend products we genuinely believe are appropriate for the skin types and concerns described.
4. Eligibility
The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian’s permission to use the Service.
4a. Progress Photos
The Lumeria Skyn app includes an optional weekly progress photo feature. Any photos you take or upload are stored exclusively on your device in the app’s private storage. Lumeria Skyn LLC does not have access to, collect, transmit, or store your progress photos. You may delete individual photos or all photo history at any time from within the app. By using the progress photo feature, you confirm the photos are of yourself and that you understand they are stored locally on your device.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation, infringe the intellectual property rights of others, transmit harmful, offensive, or misleading content, attempt to reverse engineer or copy the Lumeria Skyn application, or interfere with the security or integrity of the Service.
6. Intellectual Property
All content within the Service — including the Lumeria Skyn name, logo, app design, written content, skincare routines, and product database — is the exclusive property of Lumeria Skyn LLC and is protected by United States copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any portion of the Service without our express written permission.
7. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
Lumeria Skyn offers optional premium subscriptions ($6.99/month or $49.99/year) and a lifetime access purchase ($149.99, one-time) processed entirely through Apple’s App Store. All billing, cancellations, and refunds are governed by Apple’s terms and are handled directly by Apple. Lumeria Skyn LLC does not process or store any payment information.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Skincare results vary by individual and Lumeria Skyn makes no guarantee that use of the Service will produce specific skin improvements.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lumeria Skyn LLC and its members, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to skin reactions, product interactions, or reliance on skincare recommendations. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to discontinue use.
10. Third-Party Links & Services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services, including Amazon. These links are provided for your convenience only. Lumeria Skyn LLC has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Lumeria Skyn is designed to store all personal data on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal information.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Dallas County, Texas, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
